Online Donations Now Available & Other News

Greetings fellow Vinianites! Over the coming months, you may notice that our website is undergoing adjustments and improvements. One of said improvements is that we may now accept donations online via Paypal. Furthermore, we would like to note that our fundraiser for the Church of the Dormition of Virgin Mary (see here for details) is still underway, and will conclude at the end of May 2026. Additionally, we have an announcement we would like to make. • It is with great sorrow that we announce that Penelope Raptis passed on to the Lord on April 23rd, 2026. Penelope was born in Viniani, Evrytania on May 21st, 1931. She would later marry Serafim Raptis in 1952, and─after being sponsored by her brother Sam Mantis─immigrate to the United States in 1974. Remembered fondly as a dutiful wife and doting mother, she is survived by her daughters Nia and Voula, her sons Tommy and Nick, and several grandchildren: Lea, John, Thomas, Jacob, Alexis, Jojo, and Kosta.
