Church Fundraiser 2026

Greetings fellow Vinianites! The following is a transcript of a letter we sent this month, which is included here for your convenience. --------------------------------------------------

Greetings patriots, friends and members of Adelphotis Vinianiton,

I hope this letter finds all of you and your families in good health and spirits. As the Easter season approaches, we are reminded of the many sacrifices Jesus Christ made in the name of our salvation. The teachings of Eastern Christian Orthodoxy have long been of great importance to our people (and the values upon which our association is founded), and each church in our village stands as an integral cornerstone of our history.

To that end, we would like to inform everyone that the Church of the Dormition of Virgin Mary in New Viniani has initiated a beautification project in order to finish the stone courtyard. Though it began in the summer of last year, it has yet to reach completion, and our association has agreed to organize a fundraiser to provide what financial assistance we can. The construction is being done by local stonemasons that are very passionate about their craft, and pictures of the work that has been completed have been attached at the bottom of this letter.

As president of our association and a fellow Vinianite, I would like to appeal to the generosity and compassion of our members by asking if they would consider contributing a small monetary donation. Any and all funds that are received will go towards the completion of the courtyard, and any amount (no matter how small) is greatly appreciated. For your convenience, we have enclosed a self-stamped envelope. Should you wish to contribute, the fundraiser will continue until the end of May 2026.
