Greetings fellow Vinianites!
As a reminder to our members, our next general meeting will be held on 11/16/25 at 3 PM EST at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte NC. Additionally, we have a few announcements we would like to make. • It is our sorrow to announce that Giani Gazetas passed on to the Lord on November 1st, 2025. He lived in Viniani, Evrytanias. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to his family. • We would like to extend our congratulations to Panos Papageorge and Hanna Peterson, whom were wed on August 28th, 2025. Panos is the son of Judy Papageorge and the late Steve Papageorge, the grandson of Maria Papageorge, and the great grandson of Apostoli Nikopoulos. • We would like to extend our congratulations to George Kroustalis and Alexandria Panos, whom were wed on November 9th, 2025. George is the son of the late Grigori and Angie Kroustalis, and the grandson of Vasilis Nikopoulos. • It is our sorrow to announce that Margaret Nixon passed on to the Lord on January 11th, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Penny and Son Spero and his family. She is preceded in death by her husband Stavros Nikopoulos. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to her family. • It is our sorrow to announce that Dimitris Kastriches passed on to the Lord on January 26th, 2025. Dimitri was born in Daphni, Evrytania. He is survived by his wife Angie Kastriches and his two sons, Sam and Denis, along with their families. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to his family. • It is our sorrow to announce that Evangelia Kroustalis passed on to the Lord on February 1st, 2025. She is survived by her two sons, George and Vasili, along with their families. She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory in 2021. Evangelia was the daughter of Vasilis Nikopoulos. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to her family. • It is our sorrow to announce that Kostas Tsolias passed on to the Lord on August 11th, 2025. He was a resident of Viniani. He is survived by his wife Katerina and his two sons, Vasili and Dimitri, and their families. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to his family.
