Christoforos N. Kolokythas (also known as Christopher Kithas) was born in Viniani, Evrytanias on June 13th, 1892, to Nikolaos (1861-December 23rd, 1905) and Eleni Kolokythas. He had one brother [Argiris Kolokythas (May 31st, 1896-April 19th, 1968) who immigrated to America around 1915 and resided in Fort Worth, Texas. Christoforos' father had immigrated to America around the turn of the century, and was residing in Knoxville, Tennessee when he tragically passed away in 1905. After the passing of his wife, Christoforos journeyed to America on November 25th, 1920, leaving his two sons Nicholas (July 12th, 1918-April 3rd, 1986) and George (November 18th, 1920-July 18th, 1996) behind in Viniani.

Nicholas immigrated to America in the early 1940's, and enlisted in the US Army on May 25th, 1944 for the duration of World War II and an additional six months of service. He and his wife Mary (Adams) had one daughter, Elaine (1939-Present). Elaine married Leonard Cotten Goodwin (1944-Present). They had two children─Christopher and Pamela─who Christoforos was blessed with the opportunity to spend time with until his passing.

Christoforos' youngest son George immigrated to America in 1950, and made his way to Fort Worth, Texas where his uncle Angelos Kithas was already established. Christoforos died in Richmond, Virginia in 1989, and was ultimately buried in the Kithas family plot in Durham, North Carolina.
