They had four daughters: Irene (1949), Maria (1951), Georgia (1954), and Eleni (1960), who were all born in Viniani. In 1964, Stefanos came to America to briefly visit his cousins in Texas, as well as others from Viniani who were residing in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Charlotte, NC. In October of 1968, Stefanos returned to America and settled in New York, all while making preparations for his family to join him in 1969. He worked at several local restaurants and held a strong passion for cooking. He was an avid volunteer in the Greek Orthodox Church in his community. He made many trips to Charlotte, NC, (and other southern states) to attend the Vinianites' gatherings, and enjoyed meeting up with old friends and relatives from his village.
